SMP after company went bust: ask the expert
It sounds like the company is unable to make any further payments through payroll and that is why they made you redundant in March. As a result I fear that there is nothing that can be done in the meantime and you will just have to wait. At that point you should be able to get your SMP. In addition you should be able to get a statutory redundancy payment and any accrued but untaken holiday (capped at £430 per week) plus any notice pay from the National Insurance Fund via the Redundancy Payments Office. It sounds like you have completed the requisite RP1 form to be eligible for such payments, but please do check this.
