If you have employed your nanny for less than one year you can simply give her notice. How much notice you should give her should be stipulated in her employment contract, but otherwise it depends on whether you pay her weekly or monthly. If you pay your nanny weekly one week will suffice, whereas if you pay her monthly you should give her one month’s notice.
