Do I have to be a mum to register with Workingmums.co.uk or apply for jobs via the site?

There is no need for you to be a mum in order to register with us or apply for jobs via the site. All flexible job seekers, male or female, parent or non parent, are welcome.

Can you recommend a job for me?

Workingmums.co.uk acts as a job board and community. Therefore we cannot recommend a particular job for you to do. However, you can search for jobs on our site, and it is a good idea to register with the site and set up your career profile and some job alerts for the kind of work you are looking for. That way if anything new is posted to the site which fits your requirements you will hear about it straight away. You may also like to consider some of the franchise opportunities listed in our franchise zone, and some of the business ideas in our business zone. If you have a specific question about returning to work or changing your career, some of our career advisors are on hand to answer questions online. Click here to ask a question

I want a home based job. Can you recommend one?

Workingmums.co.uk acts as a job board and community. Therefore, we cannot recommend a particular home based job for you to do. However, you can search for home working jobs on our site, and find advice about working at home in our magazine section. 

I don't want to receive emails from you any more. How can I remove my email address?

Log into the site using the email address and password which you used to register with Workingmums.co.uk. Once you have logged in look at the links in the pink navigation bar at the top of the site. One of these is 'My Account'. Click on this, and you will be taken to your account page.

In the bottom right hand corner you will see an area to edit your details - see the image on the right.

Click on 'Edit Your Details' and you will be taken to a page which includes your email settings. Simply make sure you untick all the email preferences on this page, and click the update button at the bottom of the page.

If you also have job alerts set up, please click on the Job Alerts link in your account home page. Then choose the alerts you want to remove and click delete.

I have unsubscribed but am still receiving emails.

Our emails run from a no-reply email address, so if you have unsubscribed by replying to one of our newsletters it is possible this has been lost in the system. If this is the case, in the first instance we suggest you follow the procedure above to ensure your email settings and job alerts are removed. If you have followed the prodcedure above ensuring all your contact preferences are unticked, and that you have deleted any job alerts you have set up, and you are still receiving emails from us then please contact us and choose 'general' as the enquiry type. 

How do I set up a Career Profile?

Setting up a career profile is a good idea to improve your chances of finding that perfect job! Simply log into your Account using your email address and password. In the main My Account window you will see a link to Create a Career Profile. Click on this link, and get started telling our employers why they should hire you!

I live outside the UK. Can I register on your site?

You can register on Workingmums.co.uk if you live outside of the UK, however you will need to add a UK postcode to the registration in order for it to work. We suggest WC1.

Do any of the employers on your site employ people from outside of the UK?

You will need to contact the companies you are interested in working for direct to ask if they hire people from overseas. To do this it is best to register with Workingmums.co.uk (you can use a London postcode to enable registration). Then apply for each position directly and present your query in your cover letter.

I am an employer advertising on your site. I need help with my advert

If you are currently advertising on our site and would like to amend your advert you can do so by logging into your account. If you have any other query relating to your advert please contact us and choose 'advertising' as the enquiry type.

I want to make a complaint about an employer on your site

If you have seen a job advert which you are concerned about for any reason please contact us and choose 'general' as the enquiry type.
