Pyjama Drama

Drama classes for children

About Us

Sing, dance, pretend, play, where will our imagination take us today?

Devised by an experienced former drama teacher and already enjoyed by hundreds of children across the UK, our drama and creative play classes develop key skills including communication, confidence concentration and co-operation. And what’s more, they’re lots and lots of fun!

During our sessions we are always on the go and through a range of movement based activities (both in and out of role) children are encouraged to express themselves and share their ideas about the world around them.

We are an established and robust franchise with over 25 franchisees across the UK, we are also proud to be members of the British Franchise Association (BFA). In 2011 we were named as one of the top 100 most innovative companies in the country, by business website Smarta.com

Our classes are structured in such a way that children quickly become familiar with the format and this gives them the confidence to relax and enjoy the sessions. They also love the fact that there is such variety in the topics, we have over 220 tried and tested session plans which means that no child need ever repeat the same class twice.

In addition to public classes, our franchisees run Pyjama Drama in nurseries, schools and playgroups. We also have bespoke Pyjama Drama party packages, which significantly increases income for franchisees.

Why not come along to one of our Discovery Days to find out more, see a class in action, meet the directors and chat to a current franchisee. Details of forthcoming Discovery Days on www.pyjamadrama.com

About You

5_topstory.jpgWe are looking for people who are genuinely inspired by children, love pretending and make believe and who have the confidence to lead a group of children in creative play.

Pyjama Drama is a unique and forward thinking business. It is also financially rewarding. Not only can our franchisees work flexible hours around their personal circumstances, they can also generate an excellent income.

Drama skills are important but you don’t need to have had formal drama training. All franchisees are trained by an experienced teacher and are given ongoing support, help and advice. Some experience of working or playing with preschool children is important, although this may have come from playing with your own children.

We value honesty and integrity and it’s important that you have a desire to do well and to build a successful business.
