About Us
Footy Monsters was launched in Southampton in 2006 as a recreational venture designed to tackle childhood obesity and improve the general well being of children. Over the last five years the company has created a unique system that positively engages children and promotes their social and physical skills in a friendly, safe and fun environment.
Footy Monsters teaches children between 18 months and 7 years old organised into age and ability groups ranging from “mini” (under 4 years old) through to “mammoth” (up to 7 years old). Currently Footy Monsters has classes as far apart as Hampshire and Yorkshire, in both high net worth and low income regions. Using our uniquely devised games children learn colour recognition, numeracy, speech, muscle development, fine motor skills and our group ethos promotes inter personal skills, team work and understanding in a football related environment.
In 2011 the company received backing from franchise investment partners the Lime Licensing Group and the Footy Monsters franchise was launched.
About You

entrepreneurial men or women who have genuine enthusiasm for our market place and working with youngsters.
You will need to be self motivated and have the ability to work with young children, their parents and also adults who are in charge of venues and leisure centres so you must be able to work with people from all backgrounds, and at all different levels and ages of society.
Previous experience is not important and Footy Monsters is currently looking for franchisees in all areas of the UK.
Financial Information
A Footy Monsters Franchise has a total investment of £7,500 and that includes a comprehensive amount of inventory and stock, marketing materials, admin, training and hands on practical help with your launch program.
Everything you need to get going is included and a low 10% royalty is waived until your first classes are underway.
Training and Support
We pride ourselves on our training which is ongoing and without limitation.
Initially we’ll train you at a real life class giving you direct experience of how we work and also classroom 
time to learn the ropes. We then mentor you in your area and attend your first classes with you to help you ease into your new business and on an ongoing basis through telephone, email, classroom and even skype we schedule bite size sessions as required designed.
In addition to that the Footy Monsters Operational Manual details everything in written format that you need to grow your business.
Case Study
When Terri Fairlie decided she wanted to work for herself she found the answer when her two year old son attended a Footy Monsters class in Scunthorpe. Terri decided to launch a franchise in nearby Grimsby.
Footy Monsters gave her an easy route into self employment which also meant that she didn’t have to ditch her full time job. With the help of her partner Shaun, Terri launched Footy Monsters (Grimsby) and was able to market the business during evenings and weekends whilst she was getting established. Footy Monsters Head Office provided a telephone answering service for her during this period.
Terri said, “There is nothing like Footy Monsters for young children, my partner Shaun is the Head Coach and I look after the admin and membership side of things”.
Several of Terri’s classes are already fully booked and she is continually growing the business by following the Footy Monsters marketing blueprint.
