Little Superstars Sports Club encourages children from the age of walking to 6 year old to have an active lifestyle for the future. All our sessions are unique, fun and active for the children, and at the same time give the opportunity for children to learn about different sports such as rugby, football, basketball, lacrosse etc. At this age, children just need to be given the opportunity of trying out lots of sports, rather than a single sported environment such as football.
About Us
The business was established in 2006 by mum of two, Louise Nicholson, who realised that all she could find for her toddler was football classes. Louise realised that nothing that she researched, just taught children about sport in general, and so Little Superstars Sports Club was born. Louise herself had a sporting background, along with husband, devised all the lesson plans to help encourage children have fun whilst doing sporting activities.
Louise also appreciated that not all children are sporty, but need to have a good concept of how to catch a ball whether it being a cricket ball, basketball or rugby ball will help them develop in years to come. Developing hand and eye coordination, which helps children with handwriting, good balance and interaction with other children, has made Little Superstars Sports Club a sporting success.
About You
Little Superstars Sports Club are now looking for other mums, or dads who wish to bring this concept to children in their area, who may not necessarily be sporty, but wish to improve, and develop young children into appreciating what sport and fitness has to offer.
All the sessions are lesson planned with clear instructions to follow.
The activities that a Little Superstars Sports Club is able to offer is:
1. Weekly Community Classes set up in local halls
2. Pre School sessions for the physical development and out door play of the EYFS
3. Nursery sessions for the physical development and outdoor play of the EFYS
4. Sports Birthday parties
5. School sessions for reception, Year One and Year Two.
