How often do you work? I teach 7 or 8 sessions a week
How does the job fit around your family life? Perfectly. I am always here before and after school and can be available for special events. I don’t work most holidays (part time in summer)
How much time do you commit? I work full time but around the needs of the family.
Where do you carry out your work? In a leisure centre, in a retail store, a pub and at home. All less than 30 mins away.
Do you need a car? Yes
Do you get support/training? A lot! Its ongoing and really fantastic – a lot more than I expected.
Are there any downsides to the role? NO! (although quite addictive!!)
Would you recommend this opportunity to other Mums? Whole heartedly. It can fit with your family whatever your age. You can limit or extend the amount of work you do according to needs. I can also say there is lots of opportunity for personal development in the future.
