		An opportunity has arisen to work in our Business Services Department as a Customer Services Adviser. In this exciting and varied role you will work within a team providing accurate, timely and courteous advice in response to queries from the membership observing the organisation&#8217;s quality controls and procedures. Your duties will also include handling incoming and outgoing customer calls and carrying out research calls with courtesy, professionalism and enthusiasm. You will work as part of a multi-skilled customer facing team, to carry out research and to support and assist the NFU in the retention and renewal of memberships. &#160;</div>

		You will be able to communicate confidently and effectively and be able to adapt your personal style to reflect the range of emotions presented. You will have excellent written, analytical and presentation skills to be able to contribute to leaflets, articles, manuals, webpages and emails and convey technical information to a range of people.</div>

	<div>
		Working between 8am and 6pm in shifts, on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, you will be providing telephone support to &#160;a variety of member helplines. You will be signposting members on for further support or addressing their queries, and so it is essential you are able to deliver fantastic customer service in an enthusiastic, confident and professional manner.&#160;</div>

	<div>
		You will work 7 hours a day (21 hours per week), Monday to Wednesday on a shift basis operating between 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.</div>

		&#160;</div>
	<div>
		Educated to &#8216;A&#8217; level standard you will be an excellent Microsoft Office user. Experience of working in a customer service/helpline environment dealing with significant call volumes is essential as is a good telephone manner.</div>
	<div>
		&#160;</div>
	<div>
		You will need to have the ability to discuss and explain clear information to a diverse range of enquirers and have proven organisational skills. Also required is an ability to collate information and produce reports as appropriate. You will need to take responsibility and use your initiative.</div>
