	Senior Trade Clerk</p>
<p>
	The Senior Trade Clerk role is based within the Manchester Trade and Supply Chain Services Centre situated in Spinningfields, which is the modern financial centre of Manchester and Europe&#8217;s new premium financial and professional service's destination. More importantly Manchester TSC is part of the UK Centre of Excellence for processing complex Trade Transactions. There are currently 60 FTE undertaking processing of high volumes of Import and Export Trade Finance products for large corporate and Trade Intensive customers.</p>
<p>
	The role of the Senior Trade Clerk is to be responsible for processing financial trade products and transactions within agreed timescales and in accordance with Bank procedures and guidelines. To apply for this role it would be desirable but not essential to have a sound knowledge of financial trade products (e.g. credit facilities, loans and collections). An essential requirement is a willingness to learn internal trade transaction processing systems.</p>
<p>
	Your responsibilities will include:</p>
<p>
	* Processing trade transactions, using an internal trade transaction processing system, which will allow payments to be made</p>
<p>
	* Escalating issues and risks, as appropriate</p>
<p>
	* Dealing with customer queries and issues, ensuring they are appropriately managed and resolved</p>
<p>
	* Maintaining and developing knowledge of trade products and procedures</p>
<p>
	* Handling routine correspondence, including preparing any necessary departmental documentation</p>
<p>
	* Ensuring that all enquiries are handled in line with HSBC policy, ensuring regulatory requirements are fully observed</p>

	The ideal candidate for this role will have:</p>
