Whatever your role, wherever you are based, you will be part of a trusted global brand with strong foundations and exciting ambitions for the future.</p><p>Company Secretarial Assistant</p><p>The Company Secretarial Assistant role is based within the HSBC Bank plc Company Secretarial team.</p><p>The Company Secretarial Assistant will be responsible for ensuring that any areas of concern regarding company secretarial operational risk are brought to the attention of their line manager and/or relevant department, and addressed accordingly</p><p>Responsibilities include:</p><p> * To provide support in the provision of a company secretarial service to the HSBC Group&#8217;s UK companies</p><p> * To assist the department&#8217;s Company Secretaries and Assistant Secretaries in supporting the Boards of Directors, and the corporate governance frameworks, of UK subsidiaries and their committees</p><p> * To be responsible for all statutory filings for the companies of which he/she is Secretary.</p><p> * To understand and act upon changes in legislation and regulation within the UK.</p><p> * To contribute to the achievement of operational objectives of the Regional and Global Company Secretarial function</p><p>The ideal candidate for this role will have:</p><p> * Role relevant qualifications, i.e.Qualified /Student member of The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators</p><p> * Role relevant qualifications, i.e. Familiarity with Blueprint and Boardview (OnBoard) is desirable but not essential</p><p> * Self-awareness with confidence to work independently and take responsibility for own development</p><p> * Both spoken and written communication skills with experience of adapting your style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered</p><p>Rewards</p><p>We promise to make sure you get the recognition and rewards you deserve. 	Due to increased work levels, Merrill Corporation is looking for experienced, home-working transcribers.</p>
<p>
	You will be a proficient, accurate and fast audio typist. You will have experience of transcribing multi-speaker audio recordings from parliamentary, political, court, corporate or media environments. You will have excellent advanced skills in English spelling, grammar and punctuation.</p>
<p>
	We are looking for people with good general knowledge, who are well-read and who keep up to date with current affairs.&#160;</p>
<p>
	You will be required to produce high quality verbatim transcripts of digitally recorded audio in accordance with our company or client style guidelines.</p>
<p>
	Flexible working possible (evenings or daytimes).</p>
