Our impressive growth plans for Santander Business Banking will see us increase our market share to one that complements our award-winning, customer-centric product portfolio. Being named Business Bank of the Year in 2011 for the third consecutive year* certainly supports our aspiration of being SME ‘bank of choice’ in the UK, as does are modelled structure which focuses on delivering outstanding service levels alongside impressive career opportunities.

The new role of Local Business Manager will operate pro-actively at the heart of the local business community, offering support and developing deep, analytical relationships that ensure our customers benefit from a wealth of experience and knowledge.

Our goal is quite simply to offer something our competitors don’t –true partnerships that play as critical a role for local business owners as their accountant or solicitor.

The expansion of this area has been carefully planned and you’ll be joining an enthusiastic and optimistic network of professionals who are supported by a focused leadership team. We know our people deliver their best when well supported, so when you join, we’ll equip you with all the knowledge and tools you need during a 4-week training/induction programme which combines intensive study with in-branch shadowing. Once completed, you’ll be more than ready to make an impact, growing both our business and reputation.

Full UK Licence/Car: Whilst the Local Business Manager role is predominantly branch based there is similarly a need to attend networking events and see customers. A Full UK Licence and a car are therefore desirable, particularly in branches outside city centre locations.
