Overall Job Purpose
  • To deliver personal Sales revenue targets as set by the Management team via the communication of AVC, MPP, GPP, Stakeholder and generic information to staff members of existing and new scheme accounts. This will be achieved by, using a range of activities to include: presentations, F2F meetings, intranet, Direct mail Telephony, staff meetings etc.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to employee's of corporate pension clients, and developing excellent relationships through account management disciplines with agreed Employers.
  • Demonstrating that 'treating customers fairly' is part of their culture and is evident at all times.
  • "Provide clear information so that individual members of corporate pension schemes, understand the service they will receive and are in a position to make an informed choice about the appropriate course of action to help them achieve their financial goals at retirement".
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with relevant Account Managers and Business partners, assisting in delivering their agreed business plans.
  • The Retirement Education Team will not be "Fully Authorised Individuals" and therefore the role will be to carry out various "information only" communication exercises but the role holder must hold FPC 1, 2 and 3 or equivalent.

  • Deliver business plan in a compliant manner, taking any corrective actions where required

  • Achieve Competent status within 2 yrs of joining
  • Compliance - To ensure that you understand and adhere to Prudential's Code of Conduct and, where appropriate, comply with all relevant regulatory policies.  This includes completion of any mandatory training requirements
  • Financial Controls - Ensure all expenditure commitments (orders, contracts, budgets etc) and all payments are properly authorised, controlled and monitored, in accordance with Prudential UK delegated authority requirements. The responsibilities of expenditure authorisers are documented in the Prudential UK Financial Procedures Manual
  • Performance Management - To ensure the delivery of People Management Pru and that all its processes and tools are fully utilised in managing your people
Job Dimensions - Non Financial
  • Responsible for personal Sales targets and related KPI's in relation to Employee enrolment to Corporate Pension schemes
  • Responsible for TCF in all aspects of their role
  • Adherence to their responsibilities within the T&C scheme
  • To provide Education & Information to employees of the Prudential's corporate client bank
  • Support worksite team in delivery of Revenue and new lives targets
Key Interfaces - Internal
  • Employer Relationship Managers within worksite team
  • Area Manager
  • Liaising with team analyst
  • Working with 'Worksite Marketing Manager'
Key Interfaces - External
  • Client's via Presentations and Face 2 Face  meetings
  • Employer contacts relevant to Worksite plans
To demonstrate a positive risk, compliance and control culture through the identification, assessment, monitoring and management of risks and issues within the business area, alongside ensuring timely and appropriate resolution of control weaknesses, actions and failures that arise.
Experience and Skills/Knowledge:
  • Extensive experience of working within a T&C Sales environment
  • A good knowledge of T&C
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Good IT skills and a willingness to adopt new approaches and techniques with regards to presentations and communications generally
  • A thorough working knowledge of the corporate market, products and competitors
  • Experience of successful account management
  • Prepared to undertake travel on behalf of the Company where necessary for the performance of the main duties, this includes working remotely and with the possibility of overnight stays
  • Minimum - Full Certificate in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
  • The ability to build, influence and sustain working relationships not only with clients, but also across the Group Pensions

This role is covering the West Midlands, therefore all applicants must live within a commutable distance.
