Your role will also involve supporting the E&E team’s ability to self-manage and leverage its knowledge more effectively, encouraging best practice and introducing new initiatives.

The E&E team in the UK, comprising over 70 people, has solidified its position as the leading renewable energy advisor in the UK. The Renewable energy Country Attractiveness Indices (CAI) is a key marketing tool for the E&E team and TAS more broadly. The quarterly publication ranks the attractiveness of 40 nations around the globe for investment in renewable energy generation infrastructure and market growth potential, as well as including a variety of sector-related articles produced both internally and externally.

Your responsibilities as an Energy and Environment CAI and Knowledge Analyst will include:

- Coordinating the production and launch of the CAI each quarter

- Scoring the indices and writing key sections of the report.

- Identifying and pursing opportunities to further exploit the marketing and commercialisation potential of the document

- Supporting the E&E team in managing its knowledge processes and help create a platform for best practice across the team

Qualifications/skills you’ll need as an Energy and Environment CAI and Knowledge Analyst:

- Preferably prior experience in the renewable energy sector, including basic technical knowledge and an understanding of key issues and developments in the sector

- Some understanding of renewable energy markets and regimes in other countries is desirable, but a basic knowledge of the UK renewable energy sector is required

- Prior experience or the ability to evidence knowledge and understanding of basic financial concepts and macroeconomic issues is desirable

- Excellent written and spoken English - prior experience or an ability to demonstrate creative/marketing writing skills.

At Ernst & Young our inclusive work environment means that everyone’s opinion is valued. This enables us to provide better advice and ideas to our clients, which in turn helps you develop as an individual to achieve your potential and make a difference.
