Playing a key role within our profitable and growing Corporate Banking business, you’ll enjoy the scope to make a big impact with the leading international bank.
You’ll manage and develop strong relationships with a portfolio of existing and new corporate clients with turnover exceeding £30million. As you’d expect from HSBC, many of them will be international or even global players. In your quest to deliver income, you’ll focus on meeting client needs – winning a greater share of their wallet by focussing on their unique needs. What’s more, you’ll act as a senior ambassador for our business, involving yourself proactively in the marketplace to forge relationships with professionals and sponsors.
You’ll meet clients personally to discuss their strategies and requirements. Then you’ll deliver products, solutions and services that fit perfectly with their ambitions. To guarantee excellent results, you’ll work closely with experts and executives from HSBC offices worldwide. Naturally, you’ll always consider security and stability, making use of specialist tools and models to manage credit, asset and other risks. And of course you’ll ensure compliance with all regulatory, financial and legal requirements.
A skilled strategic advisor and decision maker with a focus on providing a continually improving service to sophisticated customers, you will ideally demonstrate a range of relevant skills and experiences, together with a professional qualification such as ACIB / IFS Diploma in Corporate Banking. We prefer you to have proven client facing experience in a similar environment. Knowledge of corporate banking products and solutions – from IPOs, private placements and bonds, through to Equity / Debt Capital Market products – will be a significant advantage. The ability to meet sales targets and exceed expectations is crucial.
Based in one of our Corporate Banking Centres, you’ll be expected to visit client premises, so a full, valid driving licence and willingness to travel overseas on occasion will be essential. In return for your commitment, you’ll benefit from the support of a strong senior leadership team who are dedicated to your personal and professional development. With a whole world of opportunity to explore, there’s no better place to start than HSBC.
