	Assistant Audit Managers: Financial Crime &amp; Regulatory Compliance Risk</p>
<p>
	The role is based within Global Internal Audit which provides independent, objective assurance to management and the risk and audit committees as to whether the framework of risk management, control, and governance processes, as designed and represented by management, is adequate and functioning. The function comprises a number of Global teams and Regional Audit teams.</p>
<p>
	Within the Global Operational and Compliance Risk team, you will assist the Senior Audit Manager responsible for managing the Global Audit Review and act as team leader for individual assignments within the audit.</p>
<p>
	Key responsibilities will include:</p>
<p>
	* Obtains, analyses and syntheses information for reporting on the adequacy of the internal control environment</p>
<p>
	* Ensure that the results of the work performed by the team meets the expectations of audit and business management and the regulators</p>
<p>
	* Based on audit fieldwork, drafts audit findings which articulate key issues and risks and propose root causes</p>
<p>
	* Maintain leading edge knowledge of audit and regulatory issues</p>
<p>
	* Undertake and pass the ACAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) certificate</p>
<p>
	The ideal candidate for this role will have:</p>
<p>
	* A track record of success in an Audit and/or Financial Crime Risk and/or Regulatory Compliance Risk role.</p>
<p>
	* Consistently achieved objectives set for them and taken action to improve their own performance</p>
<p>
	* Excellent spoken and written communication skills with experience of adapting their style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered</p>
<p>
	* The availability to undertake 30% international travel to Asia, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and North America (on average two week at the time). Time off will be awarded in lieu</p>
<p>
	* Accountancy or Audit or Financial Crime or Compliance qualifications are desirable but not essential</p>
<p>

	Financial Accountant</p>

	The Financial Accountant role is based within the Own Asset Securitisation Financial Control (SFC).</p>

	The role of the Financial Accountant is to be responsible for the production of daily and monthly accounting for the SPVs set up to securitise the HSBC Bank Plc assets. Prepare monthly external investor reports. Prepare the SPVs annual financial statements</p>
<p>
	Your responsibilities will include:</p>
<p>
	* Responsible for the daily and monthly processes to prepare monthly P&amp;L and BS for consolidation for HBEU Finance reporting team</p>

	* Prepare monthly investor reports. FSA and rating agency reports</p>
