Enterprise Rent-A-Car is looking for an enthusiastic candidate to fill the role of Customer Service Representative at our Hereford location.

The Customer Assistance Representative will be an integral part of the branch providing a high level of customer service by assisting both internal and external customers, through face-to-face and telephone interaction. The Customer Service Agent will gain knowledge through local training and hands-on experience to provide rental service back-up, service customers and deliver administrative support to our local branch network in Hereford . Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:


  • Provide a high level of customer service by assisting customers and assessing their rental needs in person and over the phone
  • Meet and greet customers in a friendly and timely manner
  • Process vehicles upon return and check-ins
  • Effectively market the company while picking up customers up and/or dropping off customer in a safe and courteous manner and assisting customers as needed
  • Understand and communicate rental terms and conditions, vehicle features and other services
  • Sales of optional protection products, upgrades, fuel options and other additional equipment
  • Dealing with calls regarding - reservations, rate quotes, general questions and answers, provide information and resolution for customers, other branches, insurance companies, dealerships, repair shops and other vendors
  • Notifying Management of any known vehicle problems and any required vehicle maintenance
  • Performing various administrative and basic accounting functions such as: research and billing support tasks, accounts receivables, transfer and key logs, process customer rental callbacks
  • Picking up customers, dropping off customers, moving cars to and from different locations, etc.
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Great communication skills (verbal and written) and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated time management skills
  • A basic knowledge of computers, internet 
  • Great telephone skills
  • An ability to organise and present information for a varied audience
  • Flexibility- will be need to stay later than office posted hours during busy periods
  • Must be fully authorised to work in the UK
  • Must be a competent driver- role requires significant amount of driving, picking up customers, moving cars, etc.

Starting Salary: £6.08/hr plus performance related bonuses

Hours: 50+ hours per week
