HR/Support/Part time/Working Wednesday to Friday

A leading manufacturer in the heart of Hull who are looking for part time HR Support to work Wednesday to Friday.

Your new role

To support and assist the HR department in all aspect of HR related matters, in line with the companies HR policies. Duties

• Liaise directly with our HR consultants Peninsula and follow their advice which will include, supporting managers with investigations, disciplinaries, grievances and consultation meetings.
• Taking accurate minutes and prepare appropriate invite and outcome letters
• To assist managers with ill-health relating to sickness/absence and identify patterns of absence and inform and advise managers of any action required.
• Issuing of the appraisal paperwork and supporting documentation and updating appraisal tracker.
• Assist manager with implementation of new policies and procedures.
• Attend site forums and update forum minutes.
• Compile and send out offer letters.
• Compile and send Contracts of Employment and New Starter packs.
• Variations to contracts.
• Maintain disciplinary tracker.

You will be working as part of the HR team and will learn aspects of other team member's roles to provide cover for holidays etc. Additional job roles may be included as and when the requirements arise.

Excellent interpersonal skills
HR experience
Great IT skills
Experience in administration
A passion for HR
Manufacturing experience ideal not essential.
