The NSPCC Schools Service delivers Our Speak out Stay safe programme to over 1.5 million children in over 8,000 primary schools every year, which is giving a generation of children the knowledge and understanding they need to stay safe from abuse and neglect.

The role of the Schools Organiser is to confidently promote this programme and other educational resources to school leaders, deliver important safeguarding presentations and maximise income through fundraising with school children.

Through your work, you’ll deliver the NSPCC’s most important messages directly to thousands of children and in turn help to raise much-needed funds and make a big difference to children's lives. By working as part of a regional team, you'll contribute to the regional engagement with primary school communities, fostering new and existing relationships with school leaders, ensuring a high standard delivery of the Speak out Stay safe programme from beginning-to-end. This includes securing bookings through effective communication and influencing, delivering safeguarding assemblies to children aged 5-11 and workshops to Y5 & Y6, while identifying opportunities for schools to access wider NSPCC products or services that meet their needs. While harnessing effective relationships with school communities you will also generate maximum income by effectively mobilising schools to fundraise for the NSPCC.

You will need experience of successfully working to targets (preferably service and/or income targets/fundraising), have excellent presentation and organisational skills and plenty of self-motivation. You must also be confident and enthusiastic, with your own car and willing to travel widely throughout the area.

Please apply by completing an online application and ensure you complete the supporting statement fully by providing examples/evidence for each criteria in the person specification - please see full job description.

If you have any questions or for an informal discussion please contact [email protected]

Closing Date for completed applications: 24th February 2019. Interviews to be held: in Swindon on 28th February 2019 for a start asap
