Community Support Workers
2 x 30 hours per week
Are you “Patient, friendly, caring, gentle, approachable and easy to talk to with a good sense of humour”
Do you have an ”Understanding of individual’s needs, and what they need to make them feel safe” with “wide interests, including arts, crafts and supporting with voluntary work” and “able to be get involved whilst providing support for current and new activities”
This is the criteria set out by our service users that we currently support. If you feel that you are able to provide a flexible, bespoke service to individuals with Learning disabilities and mental health issues, in our expanding service, then this may be the job for you. Permanent full/part time hours available.
Knowledge of supporting individuals with a learning disability to maintain life skills and engage in an active community presence is desirable. Ambition to provide creative and bespoke support in the community is essential. Support visits are two or more hours per visit, and mileage and travel time is paid between visits.
Driver/car owner essential.
