Closing Date

£34,600 - £46,700. The pay range for this role will increase to: £36,300 -£49,000 from 1 April 2019.

Hours of Work

17.5 hours per week 
Monday - Friday

Duties & Responsibilities

We have an opportunity for a Web Designer to join the e-Commerce team on a Part-Time, Permanent basis. 

As a guardian of the look, feel and branding of our websites working in collaboration with central design initiatives and key stakeholders.

The purpose of this role is to: 
- Drive forward the customer experience and sales potential through design excellence. 
- Produce compelling and creative customer facing designs. 
- Develop creative ideas and produces visual solutions to meet business objectives.

Job Requirements

This role would suit someone that enjoys bringing a brief to life and coming up with creative concepts that will appeal to our customers. 

You will also have a good sense of commercial awareness and be organised and methodical in the practicalities around delivery. 

You’ll be highly dependable and will enjoy working with colleagues in the team, sharing your knowledge and expertise.

Required essential experience skills and qualifications

● Degree in graphic design or a related field 
● Proven experience of ecommerce design across media/platforms 
● Photoshop, Dreamweaver 
● Illustrator 
● CMS 
● Attention to detail 
● Creativity 
● Web Design 
● Graphic Design 
● Usability and Accessibility

Required desirable experience skills and qualifications

● Knowledge of current SEO design practices. 
● Knowledge of design accessibility issues DDA compliance. 
● Html, CSS, Flash
