An exciting opportunity has come available within an international manufacturing business. With the head office based in Hertfordshire this organisation has offices across, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

 

The Role

As a key member of the finance department you will be predominantly responsible for the Group accounts, ideally with previous international financial experience.

Key accountabilities 

· Fully accountable for all aspects of Group accounts; including the implementation of financial controls across international offices. 

· Continuous review and improvement across controls and procedures to assist in the management and ongoing development of the Finance Department.

·  Proactively identify opportunities and drive cost saving initiatives throughout the company.

·  Lead the recommendations and delivery of initiatives to drive profitability and growth through the organisation.

·  The provision of timely and accurate relevant management information and analysis to enable considered decision making. 

·  Management of all aspects of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting including the completion of timely and accurate financial reporting within agreed deadlines.

·  Management of cash flow and the maintenance of successful relationships with the bank.

·  Develop and nurture internal and external relationships with vendors, advisers, Auditors Associates and other team members.

·  To ensure the achievement of a successful external audit with no major issues raised by the auditors.

 

Experience, skills and attributes  

· Commercial experience essential with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.

·  Experience in international finances across Europe and Asia.

·  Previous exposure to the electronics and/or manufacturing industry.

·  Fully qualified accountant.
