Job Details
We are currently looking for an Assistant People Manager to join the Group People team at Willmott Dixon based in Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire. The successful candidate will be able to deliver a people-focused, high quality service that supports both the local business and Central Functions' business goals.
The main focus of this role is to work in partnership with the business to provide a generalist people-focused service to managers covering the full scope of employee relations, employment law risks, compensation and benefits, management development, resource management, systems as well as Group based project work. Essential and Desirable Criteria
Essential criteria:
- Working towards CIPD qualification with proven generalist HR experience
- Minimum of 'A' level or equivalent level of qualification
- A sound knowledge of employment law/employee relations
- Good organisational and planning skills, including attention to detail
- Experience of managing problems and proposing solutions
Desirable criteria
- Experience of working with Human Resources systems and reporting on data
- Human Resource Management Degree
