Our client is a leading distributor within the telecoms industry. Our client is currently looking for an Outbound Appointment Maker and are being very flexible within their recruitment needs and would therefore consider individuals who are seeking either part time hours, around 9.30am-2pm or 2.30pm or full-time hours of 9am-5pm.

Job Description:

  • As an Outbound Appointment Maker, you will be making outbound calls to businesses from a CRM system (salesforce)
  • You will be working from a warm calling list, where all the companies you'll be contacting will be known of from a business point of view
  • As an Outbound Appointment Maker, you will be making fact finding calls to gather information to lead on to the making and booking of an appointment for the field sales consultant, in which they will visit the business in order to sell the benefits of using our client's product
  • You will be working closely with a specific Business Manager to increase the volume of appointments made per month
  • There is a great bonus system in place which is generated from each appointment you make, giving you great potential to increase your earnings
  • As an Outbound Appointment Maker, you will be set a realistic target of booking 8-10 appointments per month

Training takes the form of structured/formal training and on the job. There will be lots of internal training to help you reach your potential within the business. Starting as an Outbound Appointment Maker you will be given the opportunity to follow the below training structure:

  • Year 1 of Employment - once you have built a proven record within prospecting, you will then be given the opportunity to develop onto a Consultant Position, this will include making the appointments along with developing your sales skills, to making sales over the telephone.
  • Year 2 of Employment - Once you have built up your sales experience within the business, you will then be given the opportunity to progress within the next year to going out to meet with clients, which will give you Face to Face exposure, you will also have the use of a company car and become an Executive with the potential of earning bonus on a larger scale.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Outbound calls experience is essential
  • Good telephone manner
  • Good IT knowledge within Word/CRM systems would be beneficial
  • Strong verbal and written communication are essential to produce written documentation
  • Someone who thrives in a target driven environment

  • Switched on and Resilient

Hours: Full time: 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday (35 hours a week)

Part-time: 9:30am - 2:00/2:30pm Monday to Friday

Salary: £15,400 (equates to £8.46 per hour) pro rata + bonus (£15 per appointment made)
