A Procurement Specialist is required for a public sector organisation on a 21 month Fixed Term Contract, working on a very exciting high profile highways project.
Based in Birmingham, you will be responsible for the full procurement lifecycle of IT services for this major project. This will include market engagement, selection phase, negotiation phase and final tender phase stages of the procurement process.
You will be involved in tender process, procurement governance, Q & As, negotiation procedure, competitive dialogue and other key elements of a successful public sector procurement process.
There may be occasional travel required to other offices in Guildford and London (expensed).
Successful candidate will have experience of procurement of IT services in public sector with knowledge of OJEU and IT form of contracts. Knowledge of the entire procurement lifecycle is required. If you hold or are working to CIPS qualification, this would be desirable.
