Job Details

You will act as a pioneer and disrupt to enable delivery of the Bank of the Future across the Retail and Community bank Value streams. You will be responsible for ensuring that the end to end design is consistent with the wider bank's design and work with the cross functional transformation team to drive these designs. You will help define the future state of the customer journey; lead shaping activity, and be responsible for translating the vision into an actionable business case and delivery plan, making clear the choices and implications of choices on the customer journey Key Performance Indicators.

Your remit will include:

  • Working with business stakeholders to quickly resolve business delivery issues and lead target state definition and solution design to turn ideas into reality
  • Collaborate and challenge POs and the business to build innovative solutions and make recommendations to develop our propositional, business and technical capabilities
  • Drive strategy working alongside Executive members to shape, assess, and prioritise commercial decisions/impacts and customer propositions
  • Conduct analyses required to problem solve with the team on specific delivery, design, and strategic issues

    You will also act as an advocate of new ways of working and a digital evangelist who will coach lab members to deliver more value for our customers and the Group using the new transformation methodology.

    You will demonstrate logical, well-structured thought processes, and the ability to apply a variety of relevant insights to drive transformational change. You will also be able to demonstrate subject matter expertise in Retail & Community Banking and its products, and of distribution and innovation trends in banking and digital. In addition, candidates could also be able to evidence experience across a range of design-related disciplines including business analysis, business architecture, systems thinking and service design, most likely gained either through a large-scale digital transformation in a corporate environment or through a top-tier consulting firm.
