Working on behalf of a College situated in Central Cambridge we are seeking a front of house professional to join their team on a part time basis! This is a great opportunity for candidates who have worked in a front of house position previously offering exceptional customer service. You will help providing Reception and Administration services to visitors, other support staff and students. The suitable candidate will have a helpful and friendly manor with Front of House experience; you will have exceptional standards and be well presented in order to make the best first impressions to all visitors.

Location: Central Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £9.00 per hour
Hours: **PART TIME** 22.5 hours per week – 30 hours per week (3/4 days)
Benefits: 36 days holiday PRO RATA university card after 6 months, free lunch on duty (Monday – Friday) free onsite parking, final salary pension contributions, Christmas closure from 23rd of December – 2nd January, Toil of 1 hour per week that can be used as flexi time, exceptional Christmas party, training and development budget for future progression.

Duties:

* Receive guests to the College by greeting them warmly, and attending to their enquiries

* Answering enquirers by telephone

* Build good relationship and rapport with visitors to make them feel comfortable

* Addressing any complaints, they might have in a very courteous manner

* Maintain orderliness at the front desk by arranging documents accordingly

* Keeping the front desk area clean always

* Providing general reception duties including meeting and greeting

* Attend to room bookings, both online and phone

* Report issues of maintenance and malfunctioning appliances to the manager for quick repair

* Dealing with incoming and outgoing post, distributing to the relevant department

* Respect confidentiality in relation to students, staff and visitors

* Help with booking / setting up meeting rooms to meet teaching and visitor needs

Skills and Experience:

* Self-motivated

* Responsible and trustworthy

* Presentable with good customer service skills

* Helpful nature

* Front of house or reception experience is essential

* Previous hospitality experience is desirable but not essential
