Location: Lymington Depot

Hours: 37 hours per week

Permanent Contract

Salary: up to £22,264 per annum (pro rata for part time)

We are looking to recruit three LGV/HGV Team Leader Driver/Loaders to join our current team collecting refuse and/or recycling materials. The post will be based at our Lymington P02011 & Claymeadow Totton Depot P02012 . Please indicate which Depot you wish to be considered for.

As well as driving, the post holder is expected to assist with the loading of the vehicle and support colleagues where necessary. Some physical effort is required, including some heavy lifting and some walking. All necessary personal protective clothing will be provided by us.

The working day starts at 6am all year round and only in extreme weather conditions would we not complete the rounds. The full time working week is 37 hours however currently this role is part of our task and finish workforce so subject to completing all the tasks allocated for the day then the likelihood is that your day will finish early.

If you would prefer to work part time, perhaps 2 or 3 days a week, then as long as you can work full days starting at 6am then we would welcome your application.

We will ensure that you are fully trained in manual handling, understanding the use of a reversing assistant, health and safety matters and any other training appropriate for the role.

To join us you will need the following;

* Class C driving license (Valid LGV to the class of vehicle required to drive)

* At least 1 Years LGV driving experience.

* Driver CPC

* Good communication skills to work well with colleagues and the public.

* Ability to understand written instructions and complete relevant paperwork accurately.

* Good work ethic and a 'can do' attitude
