Huxton Resourcing are currently looking for experienced and committed Learning Support/ Student Support Workers who are ready to start a role supporting vulnerable young people in their education.
Ideal candidates:
* Previous LSA experience
* Experience working with children and young adults
* Have an understanding of learning difficulties, challenging behaviour, mental health and how these can affect an individual’s education and day-to-day additional needs
* Resilient to challenging behaviour
* Committed, consistent and reliable
The position will require supporting young individuals, 16-25 years old, with Special Educational Needs (with accompanying challenging behaviours or mental health difficulties). The role entails working on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, with some students also needing additional support in and around the college.
