This opportunity is part time and predominently weekends based on your own availability (0700-1930 long shifts or 0700-1430 or 1430-1930 early / late shifts)

Working as part of a highly committed team at Sunrise of Guildford, the Care Assistant in our Reminiscence unit is one of the key and fundamental roles within our communities. As Care Assistant you will put the residents care and wellbeing at the heart of everything you do. We promote independence, dignity and quality of life always in a person centred caring and supportive environment.

The rate of pay for this role is £8.20 - £10 per hour (depending on experience) plus fantastic benefits, full list below.

Even if you don’t drive, we are conveniently located 15 minutes walk from Farncombe train station and have fantastic bus links from Guildford, Aldershot and Farnborough with the bus stop located right outside Sunrise.

Key things about you;

• Experience preferred but not essential –however a caring and compassionate attitude is.
• NVQ 2/3 in Health and Social Care desirable or a willingness to undertake the qualification
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Medication administration training and/or a willingness to undertake training if required
• Must be able to work flexible hours
