TAX ASSISTANT
LEAMINGTON SPA, WARWICKSHIRE
UP TO £25,000 (PRO RATA FOR PART-TIME)
This full-service commercial law firm is one of the largest in the Midlands with a long and prestigious history and a diverse range of clients, throughout the UK as well as regionally. They are top ranked in the legal directories, Lexcel and Investors in People (IiP) accredited.
They now have an opportunity for a Tax Assistant within their Private Wealth Department, which can be either a full time or part-time position.
The Tax Assistant will be involved with:
Income tax and capital gains for individuals and estates
Administration of Trusts and dealing with Deputyship and Attorneyship cases
Maintaining records, preparing trust accounts and completing tax returns
Calculating and paying income tax and capital gains tax
Completion of Inheritance Tax forms
Preparation of charity accounts and annual returns
Preparation of VAT returns, invoicing and records
This varied Tax Assistant role requires:
Previous tax experience in areas mentioned above
Excellent telephone manner and an organised and methodical approach
Proficient IT skills and ability to learn new systems and technology
