The Role
Part-time role (22.2 hours), fixed term to Spring 2020
Salary is £28,660 to £33,199 per annum (£17,196 to £19,919 pro rata)
Location: York
The role of Assistant HR Business Partner will give the successful candidate the opportunity to bring together their generalist HR experience, business partnering and project management skills to provide a proactive, people focussed, and innovative HR service to managers and staff within the University.
The role holder will build professional and sustainable working relationships with staff and managers across the University, acting as a strategic partner in all matters related to the employment and management of people.
Significant experience of working in HR, providing professional advice and support to managers is essential alongside a strong knowledge of current UK employment legislation and case law.
Based at our beautiful campus in the centre of historic York, you will be working in small and fast paced HR and Staff Development Teams, challenged and stimulated in a community of HR and Staff Development professionals.
