We are looking for a bright and switched on Accounts Assistant to join a busy Finance team based at their Exeter Head Office for a 12 month fixed term contract. Working for this forward thinking and professional organisation this part-time opportunity offers a flexible work pattern. As Accounts Assistant you will require strong time management and organisational skills, processing a high volume of supplier invoices throughout the month.

The role:

* Timely processing of all vendor invoices.

* Liaising with suppliers concerning invoice and payment queries.

* Managing balances on vendor accounts.

* Managing the monthly payment run.

* Management of debit balances and vendor accounts.

* Administering and processing employee expenses and company credit cards.

Skills and experience:

* Previous purchase ledger experience is essential.

* Ideally you will be AAT qualified/part qualified or qualified by experience with a willingness to learn.

* Strong IT skills including Excel and ideally experience of working with SAP.

* Strong time management and organisational skills.

The ideal candidate will be motivated, show initiative and have strong problem-solving abilities as well as an analytical mind.
