We are looking for a professional accountant with senior level experience to lead and direct all aspects of financial and tax management for the Corporation’s development activities, including the East Bank project. East Bank is an exciting, mixed-use major development scheme, which will create sites at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for Sadler’s Wells, BBC Music and the V&A (in partnership with the Smithsonian Institution), as well as University College London and University of the Arts London's London College of Fashion.  

The post holder will be expected to provide financial and commercial expertise to the Corporation’s development team. Your analysis and advice around risk, opportunity, value for money, taxation and the financial implications of the Corporation’s development activities will support decision making and this role will be an effective collaborator between the development and finance teams and other key stakeholders, including the Greater London Authority. 

To apply for this role, you must have excellent analytical skills and the ability to process, analyse and monitor financial data for a range of large scale and complex development projects. With effective communication skills, you will also be able to present complex information to a range of senior stakeholders, including the LLDC Board, in a professional and confident way. It is essential that you are commercially-focused and able to maintain a wider business perspective. Furthermore, you will have knowledge of taxation around property developments and/or commercial transactions, while also being able to focus on more detailed financial aspects.
