The role:
Northwood College for Girls is seeking to appoint an experienced School Nurse; and require a highly motivated, enthusiastic nurse to share responsibility for the health care of all pupils, health education and managing the medical centre. This is a part-time post working 2 days per week term time only (Thursdays and Fridays) - flexibility with days may be required.
The successful candidate must have a relevant nursing qualification, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with clear empathy and understanding. Experience in an educational environment and with compliance would be desirable.
Department:
The Medical Centre is integral to the School community and the School Nurse is expected to pro-actively manage effective health promotion within the community by communicating with pupils, parents, pastoral and academic staff.
