Trainee Tax Analyst

Our client, an Insurance Premium Tax company is seeking a trainee analyst to join their team. This is a trainee role that will suit someone looking to return to the workforce or re-train into a new career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the smooth running of assigned clients portfolio 

• Develop and maintain a constructive and professional relationship with clients and tax offices at all levels

• Act as the first point of contact for day to day enquiries from clients, providers and other internal and external sources

• Respond to queries from both clients and tax offices in a pro-active manner, whilst keeping line-manager informed as appropriate

• Co-ordinate receipt of data & calculation of taxes based on information provided by clients

• Prepare multi-jurisdictional tax returns both online & paper format

• Attend training courses as required

• Maintain complete audit trails and comply with the financial & industry regulations and legislation

The ideal candidate must have advanced Excel skills and be motivated to succeed. You must be able to hit the ground running with a great attitude and thirst to learn. This company is happy to provide on the job training for the right candidate. The client deals with mainly insurance companies, no experience within tax compliance or insurance is needed.

The role is full time (please let us know if you need fewer hours) with flexible working hours. Two days in the London office and then either work from Farnham office or from home.
