Latin Teacher – Cobham, Surrey

We are looking to recruit a well organised and enthusiastic Latin Teacher, for a well-resourced day school near Cobham, in Surrey, to start in September 2019.

Our client is an independent, boys only, preparatory school. The school pride themselves on their traditional set of values, also adapting their curriculum to that of modern times. They educate children between ages 4 to 13 and their impressive, vast site also features a co-educational nursery. Occupying 79 acres of land, the school has no shortage of indoor and outdoor facilities. Sport is a fundamental part of the school life, the school believe that through sporting participation, their boys learn teamwork, camaraderie, self-discipline and leadership.

The school is now looking for a part time Latin teacher, to teach for 2 to 3 days a week, who should be warm and engaging, with an interest to take part in the wider life of the school. The successful Latin teacher will be given responsibility on a part-time, permanent basis, to teach from September 2019. Candidates should be engaged teachers and have exceptional knowledge of the Latin at this level. The school will welcome an enthusiastic NQT or an experienced Latin Teacher. Pupils at this school are articulate and confident, behaviour is excellent and children make consistently outstanding progress throughout the school.

Salary will be determined on the schools own generous scale and dependent on skills and experience.
