Deputy Shop Manager  Today, 12 children and young people in the UK hear the shocking news they have cancer. CLIC Sargent is the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people, and their families, and provides them with clinical, practical, emotional and financial support. You can be a part of helping them cope with cancer and get the most out of life.  Position: Deputy Shop Manager  Location: Exmouth, Devon (commutable from Starcross, Exeter and surrounding areas)  Job type: Part Time, Permanent  Hours: 14 hours per week  Salary: £6370 per annum  Closing Date: 6 May 2019  Interview Date: 17 May 2019  About the role:  We require an enthusiastic Deputy Shop Manager for this shop. Duties include supporting the running of a busy retail outlet ensuring that stock is sourced, processed and merchandised throughout the week in a timely manner. Assisting with recruiting and maintaining a large team of volunteers is also a requirement together with administering to the business needs of this shop.  About you:  The successful candidate will have good communication and organisational skills along with the ability to work flexibly and occasionally cover other shops in the local area. The position offered is for 14 hours per week to include occasional Sunday working during the holiday season this will be determined by the shop rota. Retail supervisory experience is preferred together with working knowledge of Health and Safety best practice.
