Role
We're looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to support the Finance team in the provision of monthly reporting and the management of budgets / forecasts for automatic enrolment and levy budgets.
Responsibilities
  • Report monthly routines including prepayments, accruals and journals, and full-time equivalent (FTE). You will also complete balance sheet reconciliations, maintain the fixes asset register and support on payroll checking.
  • Work with the Finance Business Partners to support budget holders and wider stakeholders throughout the organisation, including monthly forecasting and the annual budget process.
  • Support the project accounting function.
  • Investigating and resolving queries from the team and the wider business.
  • Assist with year-end activities.
  • Be responsible for producing Transparency data for publication on spend over £25,000, consultancy and workforce returns.
Essential criteria
  • Part qualified accountant.
  • Experience of working in a finance team.
  • Strong excel skills.
  • Experience of working with stakeholders throughout the organisation at different levels.

  • Communication skills at all levels.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
