Athenia are recruiting for a staff nurse - complex care (RMN or LDN) or elderly care.

RGN qualified nurses will also be considered for this exciting opportunity within our clients newly built service in the Larbert area. 

The service is highly regarded with GOOD grades in all areas from the Care Inspectorate and offers both care of the elderly within a caring, homely environment and also specialist care of adults aged 18+ within a separate designated complex care unit. 

This complex care unit has been designed to care for people with a variety of complex mental health requirements and also some learning disabilities. Extensive ongoing specialist training and development opportunities are available to staff nurses within both units, and staff nurses will be supported to expand and develop their skills.

We are recruiting for a registered staff nurse to work either DAY shift or NIGHT shift and FULL or PART-TIME hours are available.

• Roles are currently available within :
• Complex Care Staff Nurse (mental health and learning disabilities) and
• Staff Nurse posts may also be available within the Elderly Care units (frail elderly care)

The staff nurse rate of pay at present is £15.25 per hour, full time hours £34,892 per annum based on 4 shifts per week.

We will consider newly qualified staff nurses for this post or experienced nurse candidates with experience in a similar role or with a similar client group are welcome to apply.

Experience of working with patients with a variety of mental health needs and/or learning disabilities would be an advantage.
