We are currently looking for an IT Procurement Officer to work within an Education Trust.
The Trust is responsible for providing services to Primary & Secondary schools in the area, largely including IT services. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for the provision of the IT Orders Service, ensuring that a customer-focused & efficient service is provided within Service Level Agreements & in accordance with policies & procedures.

Some key aspects of the role will include:
- Building relationships with suppliers, obtaining quotes, negotiating rates & raising invoices
- Managing software licenses & warranties
- Developing trusting relationships with schools & customers
- Promoting & generating sales opportunities

The successful candidate will preferably have technical knowledge of the IT industry and have experience in:
- Maintaining effective relationships with suppliers & customers
- Procuring IT hardware, consumables, software & services
- Working in a Purchasing role (at least 2 years)
- Producing ordering reports to analyse profit & loss, & customer's expenditure
