Morrison Community Care Group are an award-winning care company that are currently looking to recruit Staff Nurses, to work closely with the Manager and Deputy Manager at Kingsacre Luxury Suites.

Kingsacre Luxury Suites is a new and exclusive care facility based in Duntocher, West Dunbartonshire, due to open in June 2019, offering 24-hour residential, nursing and dementia care. They will be providing care and support to 66 residents, who will enjoy high-quality facilities and the highest standard of care.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Prescribing and supervising the delivery of excellent standards of care on a daily basis which promote privacy and dignity, whilst enhancing independence, rehabilitation and personal choice.
  • Leading the team to deliver the required service targets and deadlines.
  • Ensuring care plans are developed in collaboration with service users, their family and friends (where appropriate) and members of the multi-disciplinary team
  • Representing the service provider at various reviews and advocate on behalf or the service user when required.
  • Undertake all aspects of medicine management in line with legal, professional and regulatory requirements. 
  • Supervising staff to ensure that shifts operate smoothly, making sure all work demonstrates best practice and is carried out in an organised and efficient manner.
  • Liaising appropriately with all visitors and callers to the home. 

To be successful for the role, you must hold the following skills, experience and personal attributes:

  • Hold a Registered Nurse qualification and be NMC registered
  • Hold a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar care environment
  • Have excellent Care Planning skills 
  • You must be motivated to work with vulnerable people and have an ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships, including personal boundaries with the people you support. 
  • You will have emotional resilience in working with challenging behaviours and be able to lead a team to deliver a high quality care environment
  • You will remain calm under pressure and make independent decisions when required
  • You will have excellent interpersonal skills, be caring, considerate, punctual, reliable, honest and hard working.
