Job Description
There is an exciting opportunity to join one of Britain’s leading housebuilders. Bellway Homes is looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join our established finance team in the South West Division located in Bristol.
We are looking for a proactive individual with a can do attitude and meticulous attention to detail to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic and have excellent problem solving skills.
Key tasks and responsibilities of the role include:
•Preparation of monthly management accounts
•Preparation of weekly Bank Reconciliations and cash flow forecasts
•Management of Subcontractor Payments
•Preparation of Monthly CIS Returns
•Preparation of Monthly VAT Returns
•Management of Purchase Ledger queries
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential as full training along with the opportunity to obtain an ACCA/CIMA accredited qualification will be provided.
