Play an integral role in the delivery of business change and regulatory reform across Europe, dealing with and co-ordinating resolution on a diverse range of compliance, legal and credit matters.

Our opportunity has arisen various internal projects and in response to several major UK and EU regulations, e.g. MiFID II and REMIT. These have an impact business-wide, and therefore we have an opportunity for you to join the Central CGM COO team, to manage and take responsibility for coordination and implementation at a senior level.

You will assist with and lead the analysis of the regulatory requirements and how they will impact our business. This will involve participating in business impact assessments and discussions with Legal, Compliance, Operations, Operational Risk and Technology and with the design frameworks to ensure compliance with the new requirements. You will work with Compliance, other COO teams and the business to develop policies, processes and other responses (e.g. governance, monitoring and surveillance requirements) and identify structural solutions including deployment of resources.

Your role will encompass the end-to-end delivery and involve working with both onshore and offshore delivery teams as well as multiple stakeholders (to Board level).

You will bring to this role strong experience of leading complex business change programmes and a comprehensive understanding of Global regulation, with emphasis on FCA and PRA (European) current and proposed rules governing Global institutions. You will also have experience with building/assessing governance and compliance frameworks in response to new regulations and standards. Effective communication skills and strong project management will be key, with proven results implementing regulatory change essential.

It would also be useful if you have cross-border experience with different global regulatory regimes, as would experience within a commodities trading environment.
