The SAP PI Integration Consultant Role:
The SAP PI Integration Consultant is a senior delivery role within the Consulting Practice with responsibility for the integration of SAP product based solutions and 3rd party solutions, both cloud and on premise. You will work alongside the project management and delivery teams ensuring that solutions align and integrate within contracted technical specifications and company /client IT strategy to deliver the intended and expected results.
The SAP Senior Integration consultant will be responsible for designing and implementing bespoke SAP solutions where change/extension to SAP standard function is required and for ensuring that fully integrated solutions are delivered that meet the business requirements of our customers.
You will design and deliver solutions that support the growth of the business through referenceable projects and extended project opportunities. The specific responsibilities of the Technical Solution Architect will include the definition and design of integration architecture and leading the design and implementation of business interfaces.
About You:
+ More than 5 years’ experience in active SAP Integration Development
+ Possess significant knowledge of SAP systems architectures
+ Knowledge of developing integration with SAP PI 7.1 – 7.5 including SOAP, REST, Iflows
+ Knowledge of ABAP programming tools including Enhancements, Workflow, Odata, RFC’s, ABAP Proxy and IDocs
+ Good team player, self-motivated and meticulous, good communication skills, strong analytical skills and technical trouble-shooting skills and able to work under pressure and tight schedule.
+ Understand database specific compatibilities issues and the benefits of the various design methodologies and object oriented environments
+ Experience in overcoming challenges in remote working such as overseas locations, cultural differences and spilt time-zones
+ A team player who is also able to work independently on problems and issues.
+ Result oriented and concluding work ethic
+ Possess analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
+ Be able to work under pressure and manage stressful situations confidently and effectively
Desired
+ Knowledge of developing integration with SAP HCI / SCP Integration Services
+ Exposure to ByDesign, Successfactors, Concur and Hybris
+ Knowledge of the wider SAP product range
You must be eligible to work in the UK and undertake security clearance
