We are supporting an owner managed business in recruiting a part time finance manager for a fixed term 12 month contract to cover a maternity leave. The ideal candidate will be qualified ACCA/ACA or CIMA or have demonstrable experience.

You must also have experience of using Pegasus Opera, have worked in a manufacturing environment and have experience of exporting goods worldwide.

You will be expected to:

* Produce, reconcile and report monthly management accounts

* Produce financial management information to use at board meetings

* Responsible for credit control

* Liaise with stakeholders regarding payment plans

* Manage cashflows and forecasts

* Manage VAT

* Manage relationships with banks, accountants and solicitors as well as advising on procurement of services

* Supporting the business owner with Human Resources

* Be part of the senior management team and provide information and guidance from a finance perspective

The client can be flexible on how the hours are structured but ideally we are looking for someone who can work between 25-32 hours per week.
