SALARY: Minimum £8.21 per hour

Based in Cumbria our client is a thriving café, shop and attached creative bakery. The current owners took over in 2015 and are using their 35 years in the food business to support the community. Their bakery ethos is to prepare good fayre from fresh meat & vegetables and local ingredients that reflect the seasons’ provisions.

Due to expansion the cafe is seeking a Café/Shop Assistant to join the friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE (not limited to):

Serving customers.

Serving food and other refreshments.

Helping out in the attached creative bakery.

Money handling.

Washing dishes and clearing tables.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:-

Have some experience working in a food serving/retail environment.

Be flexible to work weekends and bank holidays.

Have great customer service skills.

Be able to adhere to food hygiene standards.

Be able to work in a team.

Be honest and reliable.
