Pupil Support Assistant - fixed term until 20/12/2019

Salary: £18,316 - £21,190 (pro rata for part-time and sessional 39 weeks)
Hours: 29 per week

Oaklands School provides education for children and young people with complex, long term additional support needs where learners require a significantly modified learning environment. Needs of learners are primarily associated with a learning disability and significant visual / sensory, health and medical needs.

Oaklands School is looking for 3 creative, open minded and passionate individuals to join our school team as Pupil Support Assistants.

The individuals will be highly motivated team players with the interests of our wonderful children and young people at the heart of their practice.

Oaklands is a unique place in which creativity, flexibility and the ability to work with and lead a team are essential qualities.

Every member of staff at Oaklands (from HT down) has a duty of care to ensure the basic needs of our children and young people are met. This includes assisting with personal care and supporting with eating and drinking.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
