Catering Assistant  Pact is a national charity that supports those affected by imprisonment and their children and families.  Position: Catering Worker  Location: HMP Prescoed /Usk (commutable from Cwmbran, Newport, Raglan, Monmouth & surrounding areas)  Job type: Part Time, Permanent  Hours: 18.75 hours per week (Monday to Sunday)  Salary: £8,775 (FTE £17,550)  Benefits: Generous holiday entitlement, free advice & counselling service, eye care vouchers, cycle to work scheme plus more.  Closing date: 26 May 2019  Interviews commencing week beginning: 10 June 2019  About the role:  As Catering Worker at HMP Prescoed you will be responsible for ensuring high quality refreshments are available to prisoners and their family and friends during visits. You will work as one of the Pact Family team, which provides family based support to prisoners, as well as support to the families of prisoners through advice and guidance, and facilitating prison visits.  About you:  To be successful in this role you will have demonstrable experience and understanding of customer service and managing stock. You will also have excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy role.  You will be able to provide warm, human support and to ensure that children, families and prisoners are treated with respect, dignity and courtesy.  What Pact offer:  Pact offers a wide range of employee benefits including free confidential advice and counselling service, cycle to work scheme, eye care vouchers, generous holiday entitlement plus more.
