Who will I be working for?

Situated in Polzeath, a renowned surfing destination on the North Cornwall coast, the Oystercatcher offers self-catering accommodation and local pub food. We are now looking for talented and enthusiastic Front of House Staff to join our Bar and Waiting teams.

You’ll be supported by a fun, close-knit team who enjoy what they do and will be based from our newly refurbished pub and hotel overlooking Polzeath beach.

What will I be doing?

As one of our Front of House Staff, you’ll help to deliver a first-class experience to our guests.

Joining our busy bar, you will:

- Make sure our guests feel welcome
- Take orders and serve drinks
- Make sure the bar is spick and span
- Lend a helping hand to your team wherever possible

Sounds great! What do I need?

To join us as a member of Front of House Staff, you’ll need:

- To be aged 18 or over (as you’ll be serving alcohol)
- A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle (because of our location)
- A positive attitude
- Great communication skills

It would be great if you had previous bar experience, but this isn’t essential, as full training will be given.

Other companies may call this role Waiter, Waitress, Bartender, Bar Staff, Front of House Assistant, Bar Person or Pub Team Member.
