Job Details
Our client is looking for exceptional Support Worker’s. Are you passionate about providing care and emotional support to help others achieve their goals and aspirations?
They operate a small residential home for adults with a learning disability and challenging behaviour. They offer both 24-hour support and support to individuals who are looking to live more independently. They are situated in a peaceful location within walking distance to the town of Much Wenlock which has a variety of local amenities. The main shopping town of Telford is only a 15-minute drive away.
Position: Support Worker
Location: Much Wenlock
Hours: Part time/Full Time (guaranteed hours), Shifts are between 8-3pm and 3pm to 10pm for 7days a week
Salary: £8.81 p/h (overtime available)

About the Role of Support Worker:
The role of Support Worker is incredibly rewarding, you will provide practical assistance and emotional support to Service Users, enabling them to achieve their goals and aspirations.By promoting social inclusion; opening doors to opportunities and experiences, you will enhance lives and create new and unique adventures.
About You:
As a Support Worker no previous experience is necessary, however, you will be a dedicated and empathic person who is able to not only provide physical care, but also offer emotional support to help people to reach their maximum independence in a safe and positive living environment. You will be able to demonstrate the right attitude and commitment to their ethos and show empathy and sensitivity to the needs of others.
You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team and be able to learn and undertake the essential training that is required for the role. A full driving license would also be an advantage!
Whilst experience is not essential as full training will be provided we very much welcome previous experience working as Home Carer, Care Worker, Health Care Assistant, Support Worker, Nurses, Social Care Worker, Care Assistant, Mental Health Care Worker, Voluntary Worker.
